2017 Sportsman Raffle Tickets on Sale

Sunday, January 1, 2017  The Lookout Fire Co. #1 is proud to be hosting our Sportsman Raffle and Meat Drawing on Saturday April 22 from 1 till 5pm at the Weona Park Community Center!  Get your chance now to win 30 different prizes ranging from 12 firearms, trail cameras, range finder, electric smokehouse, 24 Gun safe,  and much much more! Tickets are priced at $10 each or 3 for $25 and are limited!  

Then join us on April 22nd to have the chance to win even more, from door drizes, free giveaways, 50/50 raffles, meat drawings, and who knows what else we might come up with! Ticket purchase is required for entry into the event and allows you to free food and beverage throughout the course of the event.  The last 3 years tickets have been SOLD OUT, so get them early while you can!

Lookout Fire Company Annual Can Food Drive

Thursday, December 1, 2016   Please join the Lookout Fire Company and the Salvation Army of Pen Argyl for our annual Can Food Drive on Monday December 12, 2016 starting at 7pm. Members of the community are being asked to donate can food and nonperishable food items to help benefit the Salvation Army Food Pantry to help local families. Community Members wishing to donate items are asked to place items in bags and placed them on your front porch area of your residence with your front lights on to notify members of the Fire company, who will be out picking items up.  If your items are missed you can call the fire station at 610-863-4121 or you can drop the items off at the fire station on W. 81st Labor Day weekend Celebration and Parade

Sunday, August 14, 2016   The Lookout Fire Company #1 is proud to announce our 81st Annual Labor Day Weekend Celebration and Parade, September 2nd through the 5th at Weona Park in Pen Argyl. Join us for four fun filled days of  free live entertainment, food, rides, cash bingo, activities for kids, Saturday night fireworks, and of course the Labor Day Parade.

Crews called to Motor Vehicle Accident with Rescue

Friday, July 29, 2016   On the morning on Friday July 23rd, the Lookout Fire Company #1, along with Suburban EMS were dispatched by Northampton County 911 center for a report of a Motor Vehicle Accident with Injuries at the intersection of W. Pennsylvania Ave and Robinson Ave in the Borough. Units responding were notified that there was a patient still inside one of the vehicles. Engine 3212 responded with a full crew and arrived on scene to find a dump truck vs a passenger vehicle with both vehicles blocking traffic  Suburban Medic Unit 27 EMS 34 was already on scene providing patient care. 3255 established fire 32 command and advised county that there was still on patient still in the vehicle. Utility 3241 and utility 3242 both responded to the scene and assisted assignments on the scene and traffic control. Crews  worked on stabilization the vehicle and freeing the patient from the vehicles and placed into EMS care where they were transported to a local hospital. Crews remained on scene and assisted in traffic control until all vehicles were removed from the roadway and traffic was returned to its normal pattern. Fire 32 command released on units from the scene and available

Crews called to assist in Plainfield Dwelling Fire

Wednesday, July 20, 2016 09:14  On Wednesday July 20th, the Lookout FIre Company #1 was dispatched by Northampton County 911 Center for Engine 3211 to respond with Fire Station 36 for a report of a dwelling fire on sullivian Trail in Plainfield Township. As units were responding to the scene a report was given that it was a working fire with heavy smoke coming from the dwelling. With that information fire 36 officer requested that a full response from LFC #1. Engine 3211, Utility 3241, and Utility 3242 all responded to the scene. Units arrived on scene with fire 36, and fire 35 units all ready on location. Members assisted on scene in fire suppersion from a defenisive attack due to the conditions of the dwelling. Units remained on scene till released by Fire 36 command.

    Early Morning Dwelling Fire in Roseto Borough

    Saturday, January 9, 2016 

     In the early morning hours of Saturday January 9th, the Columbia Fire Co. #1 of Roseto was dispatched for a reported dwelling fire on Webster street in the borough of Roseto. Bangor Fire Department along with Suburban EMS were also initially dispatched. Fire Chief 3451 arrived on scene and established fire 34 command for the incident. Fire 34 command then requested Fire Station 32 for man power and to establish a RIT team. Engine 3211 and Engine 3212, along with 3251 and 3252  responded for the mutual Aid call. Members from Fire Station 32 worked on scene and assisted units from fire stations 34 and 30 in numerous rolls throughout the incident. Units remained on scene for a few hours until released by fire 34 command.

    The home owners were able to be notified and escape the residents without enjoy due to have working and proper placed smoke detectors throughout the residence.

    Morning Dwelling Fire in Plainfield Twp

    Monday, November 9, 2015  The morning of November 9th, Fire Stations 36, 54,35,32 and 38 were dispatched for a reported dwelling fire on School Road in Plainfield Twp. Fire 36 chief officer arrived on scene and advised that there was a working fire and requested additional tankers from surrounding departments. Engine 3211 responded with a full crew, along with Utility 3241 with additional members. Units arrived on scene and began to go to work, providing assistance in several operations throughout the incident and bring the fire under control. Units remained on scene for a few hours and were released from the scene by fire 36 command and placed back in service.

    Lukie's Fall festival and Fire Prevention!

    Monday, September 28, 2015   We are excited to announce that on Saturday October 10th  will be joining Lukie's Fall Festival at Weona Park! The festival, a fundraiser to raise awareness and help find the cure for SMA, will be held from 11am till 5pm. The Lookout Fire Co. #1 will be conducting our Fire Prevention Fair from 11am till 3pm, This year we will be conducting several demonstrations including, fire extinguisher training, vehicle execration. Also we would be having our fire safety trailer, Fire Trucks on display, and the opportunity to dress up like a Fireman! Plus Penn Star Medical Helicopter will be stopping by. Mark your calendars and make sure to come out to support a great cause at Lukie's Fall Festival!
